Profile: Priyanka Roy Chowdhury is a doctoral student at Warsaw University of Technology, Poland. Her research project is on the study of the Quark-gluon-plasma state of matter within the STAR experiment (located at Brookhaven National Library, USA). In this project, she is studying D-mesons produced in heavy ion collisions and looking for the conditions of the early universe.

Priyanka was one of the recipients of the Dr. Kalpana Chawla scholarship of 2020 at ISU Interactive Space Program (ISP) 2020. Besides her Ph.D., she was also a finalist in the international pitch competition, Falling Walls Lab WArsaw in 2022.
