Profile: Dr. Yogita Shukla is an interdisciplinary professional with a core passion for scientific research, technology promotion and sustainable living. With diverse experiences of over 24 years in Environment Science as well as Geospatial Information Science focusing on Climate Change, Natural Resource Management, Energy Management, Rural and Urban Development, she is now working towards building sustainable systems with holistic focus while linking diverse disciplines as a SciencePrenuer.

Her scientific research focuses on understanding the impact of climate variability at high altitude Himalayas above 3000 metres using geospatial techniques. As an active technology enthusiast for geospatial information technologies, she is working closely with government department and ministries for adoption of these technologies in national development programmes such as Smart Cities, Digital India etc.

She also teaches Remote Sensing and Environment as expert faculty. As an Advisor to a few geospatial companies, she is also involved in development of geospatial solutions and products.

Dr. Shukla is Founder and CEO AddGEO Foundation, Founder Wo-Men Geospatial Coterie - WGC, Expert Faculty – Remote Sensing and Environment at Dronacharya Group of Institutions and Advisor to few geospatial and natural resource management organisations. She is full-time mother to twin teenage sons.
