Profile: Dr. Wendy N. Whitman Cobb is Professor of Strategy and Security Studies at the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS), Air University. She holds a BA and MA in political science from the University of Central Florida and a PhD in political science from the University of Florida. Her research focuses on the institutional dynamics of space policy, public opinion of space exploration, and commercial space. She has published research in Space Policy, Congress and the Presidency, and Astropolitics. Her most recent book is 'Privatizing Peace: How Commerce Can Reduce Conflict in Space'.
