Profile: Elisa Raffaella Ferre is a Reader in Cognitive Neuroscience and Director of the Vestibular Neuroscience Lab at Birkbeck University of London (UK). She has completed a BSc and a MSc in Psychology at the Università degli Studi di Pavia where she also obtained a PhD in Psychology in 2012. Her research aims to identify the contribution of gravity to human cognition. Her work is supported by national and international project grants, including the British Academy, Royal Society and European Space Agency. She is also the Coordinator for the UK Space Life and Biomedical Sciences and Secretary for the European Low Gravity Research associations.
