Profile: Anna Jurga has a PhD and is a researcher focused on Environmental Engineering in space missions. During her PhD studies, she was active in the space community, lecturing (including as a guest lecturer at Cambridge University), participating in international projects and competitions (as a member of winning teams), and participating in the construction of the analog space base LUNARES. She has also received two ESA scholarships (Concurrent Engineering Workshop, ISEB program). Currently, she works in a Horizon Europe project LUWEX (focused on moon ice water treatment), and as the R&D manager of a private company where she implements vertical farming for plant cultivation.
