Dr. Christians is an Australian doctor whose practice focuses on space health and medicine in extreme and austere environments. She teaches in the University of Melbourne Medical School, has developed a new subject “Human health in the space environment”, and lectures on ‘humans in space’ for Swinburne University. She is a member of the Australian Space Agency Space Medicine and Life Sciences Technical Advisory Group, a founder of the ad astra vita project and the International Humans in Space Summit, and Research Director of Health Law for Jus Ad Astra.
