Profile: Una Stanniland has been working in the UK Space Industry for 20 years as a delivery lead, and in strategic planning. She has delivered satellite infrastructure, spacecraft and ground systems into Service. Recently she has led a large satellite service procurement for the UK Ministry of Defence.  Una with her team has been nominated by 'Women in Defence' for Inclusive Teamwork Award, and was shortlisted. Una started her career at Nortel Networks, then went on to work at Airbus Defence and space for 10 years as a Project Manager managing various satellite deliveries. Una decided to become an independent consultant, to enable flexibility to manage around her young family. She did this for 8 years, successfully working with the UK MoD on their major Satellite Programne,  and with Space industry players such as Inmarsat, supporting them in their strategic planning. She now works  at Stellar Solutions Aerospace, and supports  a portfolio of space solutions projects and providers.
