Profile: Priscilla Nowajewski is the only Chilean scientist dedicated to planetary atmospheres and habitability. She studied Physics, Astronomy, and obtained a Ph.D. in Fluid Dynamics, specializing in climatology, to achieve her goal of becoming a planetary scientist.
Priscilla is currently working as a Data Analyst at the ALMA observatory and is the lead of the Chilean chapter of The Mars Society. She defines herself as a scientist, teacher, entrepreneur, writer, watercolorist, and science communicator to get other people interested in planetary sciences and space exploration, especially studying Mars, so that we can contribute to its in-situ investigation in the future.
