Profile: Natally Mendez graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor degree in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. She has been involved in informal STEM Education for ten years, focusing in outreach and development of hands-on projects for students from pre-k to 12th grade as well as material for teachers. Natally is the director and co-founder of a nonprofit in Colombia called Asociacion Astronautica Colombiana (ASTCOL.org) (Colombian Astronautics Association) where she educates, motivates and inspires young kids to purse a career in STEM.
