Space for a Sustainable World - Women in Action
At the 2020 Scientific and Technical Subcommittee meetings, on the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Fiorella Coliolo and Benoit Delplanque described a new initiative that presents the key roles of space technology and applications in the transition towards a sustainable planet. This initiative will comprise of the portraits of 17 girls and women throughout the world, each one representing one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the solution that space technology has to offer.
