Happy International Women’s Day!

We celebrate today by opening the application process to become a Space4Women mentor. UNOOSA Space4Women believes in the importance of mentoring, where leaders and professionals can encourage women and girls to pursue STEM education and careers, particularly in the space sector. Women and girls need the support of industry leaders - both men and women - to help break down barriers so that they can enter into careers and decision-making and leadership positions. Applications to be a UNOOSA Space4Women mentor are now open. Everyone with an interest in space and has a willingness to support women and girls in space education and careers is welcome to apply here.

Selected mentors will become part of the UNOOSA Space4Women Network, where girls and young women share and exchange information about working in the space sector and STEM fields. The application deadline for mentors is midnight on March 31st.
