UNOOSA Space4Women Spotlight Session
Background
The theme for International Women’s Day, 8 March, 2023 (IWD 2023) is, “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”, recognizing the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education, and exploring the digital gender gap.
To celebrate International Women's Day 2023, Vienna-based International Organizations (VBOs) will organize spotlight sessions to highlight the nexus between the mandates of their entities and innovation, technology, digital education, gender equality and the empowerment of women.
