Profile:     Dr. Anita Antwiwaa is an enthusiastic Engineer with a PhD in Electronics and Communications Engineering. She has various interests which include; Women in STEMI Education, Entrepreneurial STEM Education for the next African generation, Satellite Communication, Optical Communication, Internet of Things (IoT), Networking, Information Coding Theory, Climate change, Environmental Pollution and Women in TVET. She serves at the GEO programme Board as one of the representatives for Ghana. 

She is currently the Head of Operations for All Nations University Space Systems Technology Laboratory (SSTL). She is a member of the ANU-SSTL outreach team which is working in the various Primary and Secondary Schools in Ghana to promote STEMI Education using Space Technology.

Dr. Antwiwaa is the Head of Department for Electronics and Communications Engineering- All Nations University College, Ghana. She is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET). She is also an AU/CIEFFA STEM Ambassador.


Network Activities:     Some of my planned activities for 2020/2021 are outlined below.

1. Beyond the Textbook: Practical STEM and TVET Education”, which focus on training the younger generation in Electronics Circuit design and Assemble and Integration to give them a career in TVET.

2. Antenna design training for high school girls: This will focus on training high school girls on how to design an antenna to boost their interest in choosing a career in Space and its related courses.

3. Soldering Competition for all

5. Workshop on Climate Change Monitoring in West Africa using Earth Observation Data (EOD) with Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Predictive Analytics
